Our Services

Airport securityto one standard

From the checkpoint to emergency drills, we run every security process in line with regulations.

Overview

Written procedures, drill-tested readiness

At Esenboğa, our security team works to written procedures prepared to meet regulatory requirements. Checkpoint, access control and patrol duties are each defined separately, so every shift starts with everyone knowing which point they are responsible for.

Written procedures alone are not enough. Staff go through regular training, emergency scenarios are tested in drills, and the procedure is reviewed again after every drill.

Scope

What we handle for security

  • Passenger and cabin bag screening

We screen passengers and cabin baggage at the checkpoint using the methods set out in the regulations.

  • Hold baggage and cargo screening

We screen hold baggage and cargo by X-ray and, where needed, by hand search.

  • Access control

We check restricted area access by card and ID verification and prevent unauthorised entry.

  • Patrols and surveillance

We run planned patrols across terminal and ramp areas and monitor the camera system around the clock.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions

If you can't find the answer you're looking for, write to our operations team directly.

Get in touch
What certifications do your security staff hold?

Our team holds private security officer ID cards and basic aviation security training certificates. Refresher training is repeated at the intervals set by the regulations.

How are emergency scenarios determined?

Scenarios are based on the airport's emergency plan and our own risk assessment. Fire, evacuation, medical incident and security breach scenarios are regularly tested in drills.

How are incidents reported?

Every incident is recorded during the shift in which it occurs and sent to you the same day. At the end of each month, all incidents are reviewed together with their root causes.

Can we combine security with your other services?

Yes. Combined with passenger and ground handling, shift plans are built from a single centre, which removes the gaps that open up at handover points.
